Should i buy baby crib??

Hi mummies, I’m currently pregnant with baby no 2. My first baby had never been sleeping in a baby crib. My husband bought a single mattress for him to sleep ever since he was born (with a bed guard fence) . Now that baby no 2 is coming, should i consider buying a baby crib or let it sleep on the single mattress again ? #advicepls #confusedmommy #Anythingforbaby

haha i just transitioned my #1 to single bed. safer and better for development too. and let #2 have crib.

Is stroller necessary?

I am wondering if we need to buy stroller. First time to deliver in singapore. Foreigner but after 6months baby will go back to our country, but we planned the baby to come over every 2-3months, with MIL to accompany, since me and husband working in SG. Now i wonder if do we need to buy stroller? I think ill also want the baby to go out sometimes but maybe not everytime. Or go down the block for sun exposure in the morning walk etc. I am wondering if need to buy stroller for baby.

you can rent a stroller or buy a second hand stroller if cost is your concern. it helps offload the weight sometimes or if baby wants to sleep.

Flying at week 28/3rd Trimester

Any mummies flew or plan to fly during week 28 or during their 3rd trimester? Anything for me to take note apart from the medical cert from gynae? Thanks in advance!

make sure you have a list of maternity hospitals at your destination JUST IN CASE.. i prepared a list too.

Feeling lonely during pregnancy

I feel so lonely during my pregnancy so far (16 weeks) because my hubby’s lifestyle is still the same as pre-pregnancy e.g. goes out drinking almost daily, travels often for work. He’s great when we meet over the weekends (still waiting for bto) but I feel so selfish and clingy when I bring this up to him because I’m not sure what is the solution that would make us better. I know he’s trying to cope mentally with being a new dad too but I don’t want to look back at this pregnancy and only remember feeling sad and lonely. Did anyone experience this too and how did you deal with this?

I feel same like u. husband busy working and stay at his mum place. only meet him for dinner 1x 1week.

18 weeks pregnant and having brown discharge.

This is my first pregnancy, I’m 18 weeks pregnant and have been having brown discharge for almost a week now, I don’t know if it’s normal, or should I see doctor, has anyone experienced this before?

Sick during 2nd trimester - what to take?

I caught the flu, cough and sore throat recently and am 14 weeks pregnant. I think a fever is coming too although the last I measured it was 37.3 degrees so not considered fever yet. I have a normal temperature of 36+ normally so this is higher than normal for me. GP gave me chlorpheniramine (anti histamine) which I guess is for the flu. I’m allergic to painkillers like panadol / paracetamol so I can’t take them. Wonder if I should see another GP.. I called by gynae but only got advice from the receptionist who told me to take off the counter medicine but I read online that they are not safe for pregnancy so I’m confused. What should I do? Am worried the illness will affect the baby. Appreciate some advice! #firsttimemom #advicepls

37.3 is not fever. just take chlorpheniramine and some honey, have lots of rest and it will get better.

Covid positive while pregnant

I am 17 week pregnant and got Covid today. What shd I do? Shd I go to my gyne. I been to doctor and they just gave medicine for symptoms. Shd I go for a scan?

ADVICE PLS ON EGGS

can i eat poached egg on pasta?? 3.5 months pregnant

Once in awhile is fine, don’t have to avoid totally if you really have cravings. I personally took sunny side up with runny yolks once in awhile due to cravings and baby is fine.
