How to get HL ON 34 weeks onwards at KKH?

Hi mommies , do we get HL on subsidies at KKH . Planning to get it nearer date . I’m at 30 weeks now … any suggestions ? Need rest 😩

Its abit diff espec when on subsidised.. even private need medical reason n depends on gynae

Yes you can. As long as any drink like gassy, sweet, carbonated, fizzy, coffee, tea are drink in moderation.

Mt Alvernia or Thomson hospital

Hello mommies. Giving birth on November and we r Low income family . . Which is the not so expensive to give birth? We r not under any subsidies . Thanks #adviceplease

Sleeping bag/ Muslim swaddle/ Velcro swaddle

Hi mummies, any advice on whether it’s better to use the sleeping bag, Muslim swaddle or Velcro swaddle for newborns? FTM here. Thank you!

it depend on your preference . cloth swaddle if you are hands on and velcro for easy usage

Hospital bag(?)

Hello mummies! This is my first pregnancy and i am unsure of the list of items to prepare on our hospital bag haha. May i have a list of what to bring and what not to for labour? Thank you all in advance!! ✌🏻✌🏻

You can bring you and baby home clothes, breast pad, maternity pad, toiletries and whatever documents needed for registration or discharge (if any that needed). Thats all that I bring for hospital bag.

How do we know it's normal cramp or Braxton Hicks... cramp at womb area n pressure at pelvic

Braxton hicks is when you feel your whole tummy very tight and only last a few seconds. Otherwise, it’s just normal cramps.

How many appointments more to go?

Hi moms! I am at 27 weeks exactly today. I am under KKH subsidise, my 1st Growth scan on 20 September 2022. Does anyone have any idea on how many more scans or appointments do i have after that? Due date 9 December 2022. Just want to be prepared on the $ for each appointments (': #firstbaby #pleasehelp

It should be about 4 to 5 appts . Just prepare more $ in case of any additional or unexpected bills.

Anyone has ever experience stomach cramps, suspect due to food issues ate fried ikan bilis or sambal belacan bit only. Cramps come and go getting strong each time it pains constantly. I had diarrhoea suddenly twice. Took gaviscon pink bottle but not helping me. Im at my 27th weeks now.

it could be braxton hicks. how about seeing ur gynae or gp?
