hi! clueless & lost ftm here 😅 i got my last period on oct 19! tested + in nov. so… according to this app, i should be arnd 8wks? but during ultrasound doc mentioned i’m only at 5wks. isit normal? thanks in advance! #firsttimemom #advicepls

Is spinal block or GA better for csec ?

Hi mummies,I am going through a second csec next year . My previous time was via spinal block but I could feel the cut (no pain but got the feeling and the pulling of baby ,quite painful) , next year going through another csec ,is it better if I opt for GA ?Are there any risk ? I am really scared #pleasehelp

Nausea improved but poor sleep in week 8

Any mums and mums to be out there experienced something similar? Currently at week 8, nausea and vomiting dramatically improved but unable to sleep at night. A huge contrast to the past 2 weeks of extreme tiredness and nausea. Should I be worried?

it’s normal, hormones are coming in waves. sometimes high sometimes low. don’t worry so much.

cramps on lower left side

im now 9w4d and i have cramps on my left side of the abdomen. is it normal?????

Hi! Cramps are normal just as long as there is no bleeding. However if in doubt, do visit the doctor. Usually cramps are mild and wont last long. Hope you are well mummy!

Paranoid - 9th week

Is it normal to feel paranoid during my 1st trimester… i’m on my 9th week yet no baby bump and just question myself is the baby still there??? & my 2nd next scan is next week, feeling super paranoid🥲

Same! FTM here @ 9 weeks. the only thing showing is my bloated food belly. 😩

Feeling uncomfortable

Hi, I'm in about 7 weeks of pregnancy. The fatigue seems to have gone down. The issue is I'm always hungry but has no appetite due to weird taste in mouth and feeling nauseous. When I do eat something I like I will eat a bit before feeling nauseous and wants to lie down again. Is this normal? And any tips to eat more despite the discomfort? This is my first pregnancy.

Himalaya salt candy helps with nausea. Dr recommended it as well.

hi all, my eating habits has changed so much since i am pregnant. I am more into eating things like chips or unhealthier food, like mala. I’m worried about my eating habits affecting the baby but I don’t have much appetite for anything during the day.

it’s normal leh for a lot of pregnant ladies. but do make healthier choices when you can or have smaller portions of junk food

Hearing fetal heartbeat

Hi, i would like to check with some mummies here about hearing your baby's heartbeat during your week 9 scan. I just went for my week 9 scan at KKH and Im under subsidised. During the scan, i asked if i can hear the foetus' heartbeat but the sonographer said the KKH protocol is that no listening to fetal heartbeat during first trimester. Is it true??#advicepls #firsttimemom

Were you at the ADC during this scanning in which they provide you with the sonogram? If you are saying about hearing heartbeart, maybe he/she thought it is hearing heartbeat which is usually during doctor consultation if you dont have ultrasound at ADC/AMC. Otherwise what I know during ultrasound upon check on baby's growth, gender etc, you will hear heartbeat too which they need to check.
