Bumpy baby skin

My LO’s skin feels bumpy, almost like chicken skin. It’s not itchy, and occurs on the limbs. LO also tends to have red patches or small bumps on the face. Any mamas with similar experience with their LOs who can share tips or insights?

Caffeine, alcohol while Breastfeeding

Hello mummies. I'm currently breastfeeding. Wondering if caffeine is ok? Or do I have to pump and throw after drinking coffee? Likewise for alcohol, do I pump and throw? Or can just wait 2hrs before feed. Thanks in advance!

For caffeine (coffee/tea), I usually drink after I pump, then next session pump and feed as per normal 😊. For alcohol I can’t advise cause I don’t drink.

should I continue to apply gel/cream on my caesarian wound/scar? Can any mums recommend the gel/cream prescribed by your gynae? I was given antiseptic cream formerly by gynae.

i used at least 4 tubes of gel prescribed by my gynae :)

Baby latch on too much

Hihi FTM here. My baby keep wanting to latch on even after feeding. I'm worried about overfeeding. Once I removed my breast, baby cry.. what should I do..?

My baby is like that too.. He overfeeds and spits out his milk a lot after that. He comfort latches and he does that so that he could fall asleep. He latched for HOURS. It went on for a month, then I stopped getting him to be latched to sleep. Instead I time his feeds (max 15mins latch), hold him upright to burp and then pat him to sleep against my body. I give him milk more times but in small quantities basically. Your baby might also be going through a growth spurt and he's cluster feeding a lot.

Hi. I'm a BF mum. My baby often latch on me and fall asleep. Sometimes I skip the burping part because I don't wanna wake baby up. But she kept spitting out milk. I've asked polyclinic during monthly checkup and they advised to burp after every feed. Whenever I tried, she didn't burp either. Like very hard to make her burp 😅 she kept farting though. I will feel guilty whenever I skip the burping part or didn't manage to make her burp..b

Burping is never easy… keep trying many different ones and you’ll find your sweet spot

Bringing baby out

Hello. Just curious when do you mummies bring your baby out for walks or to the malls? I have not really left my house since I have birth. Baby is almost 2 months now.

Anytime u are ready! You can go downstairs for a walk with baby first then slowly go to the malls esp with the hot weather now.

Baby Spit up after feed and wanting more

Hello fellow mummies. My baby spit up quite a lot after feed after that she kept crying and wanting more. Her head turns towards my breast and mouth wide open. After I offered, she spit up awhile later again. Isn't she overfed already? 😵‍💫

Perhaps she need a burp, can try that

Premature Baby not keen to drink milk

Hi Mummies, does any of you have premature baby? Do they really tend not to drink a lot of milk? Im currently having a hard time every feeding since my baby doesnt seems to be interested in milk 🥲. Hope you guys have some insights

My daughter was born 36 week (borderline premature) weight 3kg & she has no issue with breastfeeding til now - 6 months. She in fact drinks a lot & gains so much weight. 8kg at 5 months.
