Feeling anxious

My appointments are now more far apart (slightly more than a month) and I can’t help but feel anxious about how my baby is doing and if everything’s okay. Anyone feeling the same? How do you cope with the long wait and not knowing?

Same for me, I try not to think about it and keep myself busy with work. At the same time, hard to completely detract because I try to keep my meals nutritious for baby. But now, after almost 6 long weeks, my next appt is in 4 days! Just be patient, meanwhile try to do research on what to expect in the next weeks, how to best prepare for baby’s arrival etc. always things to learn!

KKH walk in for NIPT?

I already went for KKH for an appointment before but because it was for abortion and now I want to go as a pregnant woman. I am 18w in and I want to do my NIPT asap, and my appointment is a little late. Will I be able to do a walk in? And will that be considered subsidized or private fees? #firsttimemom #kkh #pleasehelp #advicepls #firstpreganancy

Walk in Sld be private. Usually subsidised will need referral letter

Hello all! Im having constipation for nearly a week. Will it effect the baby im currently 17weeks. What should i drink?

no it wouldn’t affect baby. drink prune juice and eat more fiber

Scans and Tests?

Hi, first pregnancy here. I only found out that I was pregnant on w16 and I heard that there is different tests that were done during the earlier weeks. I know that there is still a detailed scan at w20 onwards but is it still necessary to do the earlier tests?#firsttimemom #pleasehelp #advicepls #firstbaby

I only did the detailed scan and drawn my blood once for Oscar that’s all. Low risk pregnancy and afraid of needles hence I didn’t go for GD/any other vaccinations 😅. Baby is full term and healthy.

Which week do you know baby's gender?

Went for my appointment and the gynae said it might be a boy but private part was still small so can't confirm yet. At which week was your baby's gender confirmed? I'm currently at 16 weeks 5 days. My next appt will be on week 21.

Is it normal to still vomit at week 15? Didn't vomit expect nausea during 1st trimester.

Confinement nanny - yes or no?

How tough is it to go without one? I’m not comfortable with an additional stranger in the house and worried her ideology will clash with mine. I don’t subscribe to too many old wives tales and hope that my baby wouldn’t be subjected to superstitious practices. I’ll be on maternity anyway, will I be so worn out if my hubby is fully committed to help?

i engaged CN for my 1st pregnancy, ended her service 1week earlier To add on, I engage day only instead of full day and paid extra for her accommodation, cause I don't like to have stranger stay over I didn't engaged CN for the 2nd pregnancy due to 1st CN experience I ordered Confinement Tingkat it's manageable without CN or any help from parents/in-law, at the end of the Confinement, we will still need to manage everything my ourself

Week 15 pregnancy and feels nothing. 1st pregnancy

Hi, anyone has the same feeling? I'm in week 15 going 16th soon. But I don't feel any pregnancy symptoms. In my first trim I lost appetite and such. Now I finally got better, but no tummy growth feel (like tummy stretch etc). Is it normal?

I cannot sleep the whole night and day Im feeling exhausted and tired but I still cant. Im on my 16 weeks of pregnancy. Any Idea or advice how to sleep well.
