Is there a temperature controller in A1 ward in KKH??

I read in a blog that it was way too hot in the A1 WARD in KKH during the day and way too cold at night? is there a temperature controller in the ward ?? or anyone can tell me their review about their 3 day stay in A1 ward in kkh?? also few people shared that there is no guarantee to get A1 ward for delivery. but I have an elective c section, does that mean it's not guaranteed even if I opt and book it 2 months earlier ? #kkh #a1ward

it was fine for me throughout the day. there’s no controller in the ward. you should bring your own device or clothing for temperature regulation. also you are probably worrying too much.. and yes there’s no guarantee of A1 even with earlier booking. if it’s all full you will be given the next class ward

Can open windows in a1 ward kkh??

I am currently 32 weeks pregnant and I plan on delivering by elective c section on this 6th April. however, I have a few anxiety issues and I also have issues with claustrophobia. So I wanted to know the review of a1 ward in kkh regarding if I feel closed or anything, can I switch off ac and open the window for a while for fresh air ?? kindly please help if you have similar experience or experience in a1 ward?? #kkh #a1

Real contractions/braxton hicks?

Hi mummies! Im currently 31 weeks pregnant. Last night i experienced sharp pain n pressure around my uterus (lower abdomen) and lower back, walking/lifting my legs made it worst. It lasted about 20 mins, and i woke up with the bottom half of my body feeling sore and tired. Could it be braxton hicks or real contractions? Anyone experienced this before? I am really worried n i dont think real contraction at this week is ideal 😭

It could be braxton hicks. If contractions it will be few mins apart subsequently will be very tense.

Hi anyone has experience changing gynae at NUH private ?? I’m currently 33 weeks and I don’t really like the gynae that I’m seeing currently. I had already paid for the antenatal packages and wondering if I still can change to other gynae.

Whooping cough vax?

Anybody know how much kkh charges for whooping cough vax under subsidies? Planning to go take in minmed if it's more expensive and cause the next time i visit kkh will be in w32 already.
