2nd degree tear and recovery

Hi Mummies! Just gave birth 11 days ago. Had a second degree tear. Currently, I am still experiencing tightness and often my uterus feels heavy like it's gonna drop out. Is it part of healing for vaginal delivery? Anyone can share a fast way to recover? Thank you!

Yeah it’s normal. I personally find that washing with Dettol and warm water works best for me.

My son (3 wks old) discharged frm hospital due to the projectile. During the hospital stay, he didn't vomit or anything until the following day upon discharge.. anyone have encountered such a situation?#advicepls #firstbaby

Beauty: Ok to do when pregnant?

- facial - pedi/mani cures - Brazilian waxing - body massage/ foot massage I realized for things like facial, pedi/mani and massage, some salon have prenatal versions. Is it necessary or I can still go on with my regular salon? As for Brazilian waxing, most websites says it’s safe but have anyone done it during pregnancy?

My pregnant wife does not get body or foot massages especially reflexology right now. However, she has done manicures and pedicures.

Anyone of your mommies bf and bottle fed too? Coz I prefer to bf day time once or twice .and the rest pump and feed. Can share your experience ?

41 weeks & induced

Im alrdy 41 weeks today. Had just induce but still baby is still so comfortable inside my stomach. I feel contractions on and off but im still stuck at 3cm since yesterday :(

If you can endure the pain continue to do so? Have they break you water bag? Did they put hormone drip to make contractions closer? If waterbag's broke by doctor and you feel the intense pain, you may request for jab, gas or epidural. You need to get rest otherwise if you are drain out of energy, you wont be able to push and ending up in OT for emergency C Section. However, if you can endure pain and stay long, you can continue to do so. There are some mummies that was induced and has been in labour from night till next day. For me first child induced at 41 weeks exact in the morning and only give birth next morning. I took epidural and I was vacuum assisted delivery. I was in labour about 17 hrs +/-

How do you hold the heavy head when breastfeeding?

Hi mommies. Am I the only one who feel that the head or body is heavy when breastfeeding ? Because of that I prefer to bottle fed . I know there's such thing as breastfeeding pillow but how you handle it when you're outside ?

Vagina swell after delivery

Hello mummies, I am 3 weeks after my vagina delivery but my vagina is still swollen. Anyone knows roughly how long this swell will last? Should i visit my obstetrician?

It depend on the stitches and after care advice / medication given by the hospital. Would recommend to put ice pack to reduce swelling or sitz bath (using epsom salt/warm water), do twice a day atleast 20 to 30 mins.
