2025-06-09Hi mummies. My bb just came back from his 1yr devepopment check at polyclinic. Doc asked if he has spoke his first word e.g. papa or mama specifically to us. We said no but he babbles & understands. Doc says usually first word at 12 mth. Feeling worried now. I read that boys are more likely to start speaking a little later than girls . May i know to all the boys mummies, when does ur bb said their first word meaningfully? (Not babbling)

2025-06-09Hi mummies, FTM here and due in Aug… can I check what are the recommendations for formula milk powder? I am definitely going to try breastfeed first but I am afraid I may not have enough supply and in case emergency, my new born baby needs to be fed with formula milk. Thanks in advance 🙏🏻

While I try to avoid outdoor as much, it is really tough to avoid completely. I put on mask whenever i'm walking on streets but i am still really worried for the effects. My symptoms are as mild as itchy throat and stuff nose. 2025-06-14I was in the subsidised route, but my entire 6months+ appointments were with Dr Mok so didn't get to experience other doctors. Now switching to private route and wanted Dr Carmen Tong. However, she's unavailable until after August. So my 2nd choice was either Dr Liu Jia Yi or Dr Samantha Rachel Yeo Mei-E. Anyone have experience either of them? Or able to recommend another female Gynae? Also, is it possible to run out of A1 ward? As one of the partial reason to switch to private was wanting to be alone. Thanks!
