NUH gynae?
Has anyone here gone through the subsidized route with NUH? What should I expect for the first gynae visit?
Hihi, congratulations on your pregnancy! You will be doing registration at the counter. There'll be some forms to fill in. Height and weight, urine sample and blood pressure measurement will be taken prior to seeing gynae. These three will be self-service and taken every visit. Dont worry as you'll be guided along for the first visit. There will be gynae consultation with an abdominal ultrasound. Usually during early weeks, there'll be chances of doing transvaginal ultrasound for better visual. Gynae will tell you approximately how far along you are in your pregnancy. If there's any medical history, do share with the gynae. Blood test will also be taken. They will test for many things with the blood sample.
