- 2018-08-20why don't we have a more portable and easy-to-keep version of health booklet? In addition, we can save the records of our own children's growth in a more accurate and easy-to-refer way.
- 2018-08-21Hello,
My kid is now 9 months old. Over the past 9 months, I have found it difficult to keep track of baby records across so many caregivers.
When I was just newly parent, the doctors would advise me to record down all the poop timings and its colour/texture on a booklet. As my kid has congenital issue, I often keep track of newborn temperature on google spreadsheet on my phone, which I share with my wife, so that we can input the values together.
Our confinement lady also initially helped us with the recording. As our newborn had irregular poops and colour/texture, we also started snapping photos of poop regularly to keep track and show the doctor during visits. But the photos are on the confinement ladies phone and it's quite a chore to consolidate it.
We had faced very similar issues with temporary babysitters, such as our parents, and also domestic helpers at home.
When our parents bring our baby to the doctor, they don't provide all the details as some of the details are with me and my wife.
We thought that maybe there should be a better way to consolidate all the records by having all the caregivers input them into a single app. The records will also be given to the caregivers so that they can show the doctors the history of records for them to make informed decisions.
We spoke to some parents and they also share similar difficulties. I was wondering if any of you share similar difficulties?
Some fellow parents have come together to see if we could create an app to help us parents. If we could gather some feedback at https://goo.gl/forms/hEMnHMbfHFrZqJzv2
, we might actually develop this app.
Please share your thoughts, so that we can decide whether or not this app will make sense to another fellow parent like you.
- 2018-08-21There's plenty of article by moms to support moms but there's not much on dads. So, I decided to begin one and hopefully, some dads might find it useful.
Let me know if you think it might help and if there's other topics you think I should talk about.

- 2018-08-23Hi we are parents of 2yrs old twins. We are looking for insurance companies that will offer health insurance for our twins since prudential, AIA and great eastern rejected us.
Twin 1 has asymptomatic tiny right choroid plexus cyst @ birth and doctor has certified that she requires no intervention and discharged from any follow up.
Twin 2 is fine.
We approached our regular agent @ prudential and she said prudential can’t accept doctor’s memo as it is unresolved.
Not sure what is there to be resolved and it seems that doctor’s memo is not trustworthy to prudential.
According to the doctor, the cyst is common (either it will dissolved or it will show symptoms that the cyst got bigger). Twin 1 is perfectly fine and her developmental growth is the same as twin 2.
We will be so grateful if premies parents can recommend a company that provide insurance health for premies. Thank you so much

- 2018-08-25My ex Husband cheated on me. We got divorced4 years back. We have 2 kids. Twin boys aged 3.
Anyway about 2 years back we both remarried, him with the woman he cheated on me with and then both of us ended up divorce again. Compatibility issues.
Anyway, Long story short we started dating each other again about 7 months ago. And now he has proposed to me again. It feels right and the kids ofcourse are excited.
We are both 35.
Any advice? What would you do if you were in my shoes? Everything seems great but I am wary with drinking from the same glass twice. But I also know it would be good for the kids to grow up with both Mum and dad.
