My daughter loves to eat yogurt too! Her favorite flavor is Sensational Strawberry from Nestle. I think it is safe for toddlers. All we need to do is to consider the sugar content, added ingredients, calcium, live & active cultures, and of course the taste when choosing yogurt for our kids. Like what Janine mentioned previously, we should introduce them first to low sugar yogurts. Usually, the best choice is the Vanilla flavor. They tend to have less sugar content than the fruity ones. :) You can find more information here about Yogurt for kids. :) http://www.raisehealthyeaters.com/2010/08/8-of-the-best-yogurts-for-kids/

Hi, Mommy! Yes, I've read in an article that is best for toddlers because yoghurts ideally are packed with different nutrients such as calcium, probiotics, vitamin D and protein which helps in keeping them healthy and strong. You just have to check sugar content because since there are a lot of yoghurt drinks available, you need to compare which has the lowest sugar content and more nutrients and probiotics. No worries! introduce your child to low sugar yoghurts so that she wont be craving for too much of the commercially available ones that are super sweet. :)

Yes! Definitely a much much better alternative to formula milk. I breastfed my children exclusively, then when they turned 1 year old, I never opted to buy formula milk. I serve them with either almond/soya drinks or yogurt which are much healthier.

Yes it is good even for younger ones. It's healthier and low in sugar.
