Would you recommend soft books to 5 month olds?

Soft cloth books are great practice for the real thing! It lets you demonstrate to your child how to flip a page as well as the concept of a book. A book is basically another form of peek-a-boo for them. Your child will be thrilled to see what happens when you open and close the book. He or she will want to touch it too, so soft books are really best for reading introduction.
