Why is front facing forward not recommended?

This is because babies can be easily overwhelmed with his/her surroundings. Overstimulation isn't really a good thing for babies. Plus, it's quite uncomfortable for a baby to be worn front-faced, which is why it's recommended for only max of 5 mins.
