When is the right time to introduce your child to reading?

I don't think that there's specifically a 'right' time, I believe you should start exposing your child to books as soon as possible, even if they don't understand you, I'd recommend just reading to them. Growing up around books, and being constantly exposed to them is an amazing thing and will undoubtedly influence their interest in reading and writing :-)
