Assisted walking

When can I practise assisted walking with my 10-month old baby? Must I wait till my baby can stand unsupported? Assisted Walking: Stand behind your child, place your hands around his upper arms, and pull him up to a standing position. Gently pull one arm forward and then the other. His feet will naturally follow as he rotates his hips to step. Keep practicing walking until your baby is ready to stop.

Babies often start walking around 12 months old. when their legs are strong enough. but this could certainly happen earlier or later. I started to assist walking to baby after 12 months. as he didn't start it.
