What treatments are available for a food allergy?

Generally, there are two main ways of medication to treat a food allergy. Firstly, antihistamines are used to treat mild to moderate allergic reaction. Secondly, the use of adrenaline to treat severe allergic reactions like anaphylaxis. I have a mild allergy to certain seafood but I usually have my antihistamines on hand and I can eat them in moderation.

My son is allergic to eggs. So you can imagine how bad that is. He can't even touch eggs. I don't think there is a cute for it.

Based on my knowledge no cure. Most of the time it's genetic.
