Being an avid reader, I’ve read countless books on parenting. I think you’ll find these three books useful. 1. Mind In The Making: The Seven Essential Life Skills Every Child Needs by Ellen Galinsky. It looks at seven areas of development, including communication, focus, self-control, learning to take challenges, engaged learning and more. 2. The Happiest Toddler On The Block by Harvey Karp and Paula Spencer. It will show you how you can reduce those toddler tantrums and help your baby become happy and positive. It also shows how to improve your toddler’s patience and cooperation skills. 3. How To Talk So Kids Will Listen And Listen So Kids Will Talk by Adele Faber and Elaine Mazlish. Handling toddlers is difficult and we often tend to scream or get upset. The book shows how we can communicate with our toddlers with respect and still get them to listen to us. It is a great way to foster bonding and encourage communication.
