I'm giving both my kids 1yr and 3yrs old sambucol for kids. It can help to maintain a healthy and strong immune system and is clinically proven to be effective on Influenza and other viruses. Sambucol Kids Formula consists of flavonoids (natural antioxidants) with added Vitamin C and Propolis. It is suitable for vegetarians and vegans gluten free. My kids love the taste of sambucol and it is easy to get them to consume their daily dose of the vitamins. I usually purchase it from VitaKids at paragon singapore,Or you can purchase it online too. http://vitakids.biz/shoponline/index.php?option=com_mijoshop&route=product/product&product_id=507&search=Sambucol%20for%20kids&Itemid=563

I just give my boy Vitamin C. Any chewable ones would do. If your child is eating a balanced diet, I don't think supplements is necessary. And it might even cause more harm. Some have higher sugar content and if given too much, there is an illness called Hypervitaminosis. And yes, it's from taking too much vitamins, which might be detrimental to your child's liver and kidneys. Of course, best to consult with your pedia.

Hi Samantha! I highly suggest that you take your kid to a pedia and ask for a vitamins that suits your child's need. Though vitamins doesn't need prescription, it's best to consult a professional so they can give the appropriate vitamins.
