What kind of clothes do you all buy for your helper for CNY?

I agree with Jamie. If I had a helper, I would give her a budget and let her shop on her own. If she isn't familiar with Chinese customs and traditions then perhaps you could brief her about the do's and dont's so she can avoid getting those. It is said that shopping destresses a woman so this might help relieve some of her home sick she might be feeling since she has left home for so long.
