What's a good family car for a small family, especially driving around the crazy Manila traffic?

Any car that's small can be a better choice than big-built cars since they are more fuel-efficient; hence, a better choice for Manila traffic. I've read from a thread in TopGear that the three most recommendable subcompact cars would be Ford Fiesta, Toyota Yaris or Vios, and Honda Jazz or City. Runners up would be Volkswagen Polo, Suzuki Swift, Kia Rio, Hyundai Accent, Nissan Almera, Chevrolet Sonic and Mazda 2. That's at least according to a one person's review. I really like my Toyota Altis! Not as small as the Vios I think but quite efficient with gas!
