I had the same experience at week 5-6! Drank a lot of water and ate a lot of apples but I ended up vomiting a lot too. I went to the doctor and he prescribed me stool softener called Duphalac! I drank it once and it really helps to relieve my constipation..

Drink more water at least 1.5litres, eat smaller meals n take ur time eating a meal. Take more veg and fruits, yogurt.. (:
