If you recently had a drastic change in your diet, it could affect your period as well. This happened when I did a juice fast for a week and then a meatless diet the following week. My period, which is normally regular, was delayed for about 2 weeks. It went back to normal soon after though. That being said, I will not attempt such long bouts of drastic food changes for a long time after that experience.

Hormones. Maybe lack thereof. I've always had a problem with missing periods, sometimes for 2 or 3 months at a time.. I haven't had a period since April of last year, and have had 2 pregnancys/miscarriages since then. We're currently expecting for a 3rd time :)

I've had my period delayed for about 2 months because I was under crazy stress. I wasn't eating right, I wasn't sleeping right. Once I got myself sorted out, my period gradually became regular again.
