Wean off pacifier

At what age and how did you wean off the pacifier for your LO? My girl is 8months old and she will cry for her pacifier at night when it drops off. Really keen to wean if off and foresee the crying part coming. *headache

if your child has incoming tooth. better stop or slow down using pacifier.
