How to wean off pacifier at 6.5months?
Hi did anyone try to wean off the pacifier for their baby at 6.5 months? Any tips on how did you all manage to do it successfully and duration for baby to forget about the pacifier ?
I didn’t wean off at 6 months but she weaned herself off at 18 months. I usually change according to age so I offered her 18-36months of another brand and she rejected. On the same day she rejected all pacifiers and didn’t take even when we gave her the old one that she always use. You can try just not giving at all, but you have to think of alternative ways to soothe her if she cries. I don’t think cutting down on usage will make any difference for now. At 6.5m I think it’s hard for her to understand how to “say goodbye” to the pacifier and willingly let go of it.
