Supposed to be 6 weeks+, but measured 5 weeks 4 days.

Went for my first ultrasound scan at 6 weeks, and managed to detect a heartbeat. But my baby is only measured 2mm in size at 5 weeks 4 days. Is this normal to be behind? Is 2mm baby considered an okay size?

If you want to base your pregnancy on your LMP, it is never accurate even with a regular menstrual cycle. The only accurate ones is when you do an ultrasound. That's when the fetus is measured and your EDD is estimated. So yes, it is totally normal to be earlier or a bit later than you've guessed ☺️

I actually did IVF, so the supposed number of weeks should be around 6. Thanks for the reassurance!
