Contraction after birth

Is it true that we’ll still get contraction pains post birth cs our uterus is shrinking ? If yes, is the pain that bad and how long will it usually last ? #FTM

Yes and it’s bearable but I won’t say it’s painful, prepregnancy period cramps were way worse. Everytime it happens I’m actually quite happy, I’ll just think that “nice my massage works” 😅.

Yup it’s true! I just gave birth 3 weeks ago. As for me the contraction pain after birth not as bad as the transitional phase during birth. It last for afew seconds & about 2/3 days to go away.

yepp agree with the other comment. its still bearable than contraction during labour! just take those painkillers and it will go away soon! just take it slow :)

Hello mummy, I have Csect, and I have contraction pain too.. especially when I pee or poop. Not a everyday thingy. Pain is like menstrual cramp.
