A few months in advance. If we’re joining a tour group will plan more ahead, if free and easy sometimes even only 1 month in advance lol

6 months before so that we have ample amount of time to decide on where to go and how to plan etc.

Depends on the destination- longer if its more off the beaten track, or managing a drive-hol...

I need to be organized and plan for every possible hiccups...so I will have plan A,B,C,D
