Have meal in small portion. Avoid drinking water in between meal. No spicy/oily food. Also since you are at last lap of pregnancy, baby has limited space, therefore baby tend to kick toss turn and pressure causing the constant heartburn, burning or cough taste like salty/acidy. If can also avoid eating meals nearing to bed time. Give sometime for body to process food. Sleep side ways to prevent acid reflux.

Try to avoid spicy food. What I did to overcome heartburn/acid reflux, I took Gaviscon and it worked! It is safe for pregnancy as it indicates at the back of the box. But if you have doubt, please consult a doctor.

I ate Rennie's peppermint tablets to help ease the heartburn 😅
