Hi there mummies, I'm currently feeding my 9.5mth baby 2 solid meals daily and she's still taking 120ml of formula milk every 2 hrs. May I know if this's normal? How much (portion in ml/grams) of solidfood in each meal is given to your lil'one? She's on homecooked porridge or organic food packs/jars each meal. Appreciate all sharing of advices. Cheers

Hi I have the similar situation as my gal is not taking a lot of solids. She is 10.5 mo and on good days can finish maybe 1.5 pigeon small baby bowl of porridge. I only give a little snacks like small pieces of bread for breakfast and afternoon snacks or some fruits. Her weight actually drop by 300g in a months time!! My mom feels I feed her too little solids while my mil feels it is enough and in fact she gives my baby such watery porridge that it is like soup. That said a mommy has told me that they still need about 800ml milk at this stage. So for me I usually give about 135-150ml on every feed about 3 hours apart except for lunch and dinner I will adjust the amount according to how much solids she has eaten. She drinks about 800ml a day and solids twice a day but still weight gain is not good
