It’s not going well :(

Hi there, I just found out that I’m preggy and about 5 weeks 4 days. However I just started my new job this month and the workload is crazy and it’s going super fast pace which previously I’m ok as I’m use to it but..I’m currently experiencing bad bad changes in my body such like having a dry cough very bad dry cough, vomiting but nothing to vomit. Extreme tired. Should I let my current employers know or should I just quit and focus on the health? :(

Newly pregnant

Hello! Congrats on your pregnancy. Yes, u should inform your employers know and try to manage your workload. Health is a priority right now, and stress may adversely affect you. I’m in a similar situation too, newly pregnant and trying to adjust with the work requirements. Have asked to WFH during this period to get more rest. Jiayous!

Health is more important than anything else plus you are taking care of another life that is inside you. I think you should talk to your manager and perhaps something can be worked out
