Yes dear, dry fruits are extremely beneficial at all times, including when you are pregnant. But remember that too much of anything is bad, so you can have a handful of mixed dry fruits a day, but check with your doctor if you have any medical condition. Some dry fruits that are very good and are generally taken during pregnancy include pistachio (rich in vitamin B6), almonds (rich in vitamin E), dried apricots (rich in vitamin E), pine nuts (rich in vitamin K). Almonds, dried fig and dates can reduce risk of preeclampsia and hypertension and is beneficial for your baby's nerves, muscles and bone development. Cashew nuts, walnuts, apricots and pistachios are rich in copper and will help your muscles perform well. Dry fruits contain a mix of nutrients that will help in the right development and growth of your baby inside the womb and also take care of your health.
