Taking baby for a PhotoShoot this weekend. Any tips for how to get baby to be settled and calm during the shoot?

You can also try having a mix of soft, soothing music or white noise on hand to play to your baby during the shoot to help keep him/her calm and asleep. Also, if you are calm, your baby will pick up the cue from you and will more likely to stay calm and comfortable as well. Similarly, if your baby sense that you are anxious, he/she may also be nervous during the shooting. Good luck and enjoy the session!!

Besides having baby well-fed and well-rested, if you are having the shoot done at a studio which is normally air-conditioned, keep baby warm. To prevent movement during the shoot and to keep baby comforted and warm, try wrapping the baby in a shawl, towel, or scarf before photographing.

For newborn photography its usually preferred the baby is asleep. So do whatever it takes to make sure baby is nice and exhausted :) Also a well fed baby is a happy baby! So do feed and burp baby right before the session to ensure a happy, sleepy (“milk drunk”) baby.

Remember to bring baby's necessary items e.g. diapers, pacifier (if your baby is using), milk, soothing music and etc. Make sure baby is well fed and well rested before the photoshoot so to avoid cranky and crying during the event.

Make sure that baby have enough sleep and will be good to feed before the photoshoot. Bring along baby's comfort toy or blanket. Also bring along rattle toys that can catch their attention.

Depends what you want - sleeping shots or awake shots. Can you share?
