Do you take jamu during confinement? If yes, does it affect your breast milk production? Have heard stories that some ingredients in jamu play a part in resulting breast milk to dry up.. Keeping an open mind here about traditional herbs.

My sister actually took jamu and had allergy reaction to it. She then stopped taking it. Once her allergy has cleared, she suddenly don’t have any milk supply anymore. I rmember seeing her being upset about it and she tried all ways to gain it back but eventually it has dried up.
Omg thats so sad!!! I hope she’s alright now. I’ve heard stories about allergic reactions too when taking jamu. I used to be pro-jamu cos I took it frequently growing up and I turned out fine, but now it’s 50-50 cos idk how my body will react to it post-natal.
