milk formula

My son will turn 1 on jul12. His 6 to 12mos milk will only last tonight. Can he start using milk formula for 1to3 starting tom? Tia

Transition mo po muna momsh for a week, mix mo po yung 6 to 12 sa 1 to 3 na milk. Ganun po advise ng pedia before samin.
