I think the sucrose was to make it sweeter and more palatable for the toddler. Can redeem a sample here to know how your kid reacts to the new formula: https://www.family.abbott/sg-en/similac/products/similac-gain-stage3.html?utm_source=EDM&utm_medium=AbbottSimilacSite&utm_campaign=TAPAdvocacyCampaign&utm_content=S3%20Product%20Page

Not sure how it tastes like without auctose but i believe it’s healthier without it! Maybe can try free samples first: https://www.family.abbott/sg-en/similac/get-samples/similac-gain-kid-s4-sample.html?utm_source=EDM&utm_medium=AbbottSimilacSite&utm_campaign=TAPAdvocacyCampaign&utm_content=S3SamplePage

To my opinion I think sugar is to make the milk taste better and it is not necessary for the growth of our kids, on the other hand too much might be harmful to them too. So far mine is ok with current formula so I am happy with it.

Hmm good point! Not too sure as I'm not the one drinking but less sweet means better I suppose..... hopefully my son still likes it! Worth a try. Can redeem the sample first.

To me, although sucrose is a natural form of sugar, it is also not healthy for toddlers to consume too much. It would be great for the new formula to remove it.

Yes it’s, Similac® Gain with 5-MOs and Gangliosides! Now with no added sucrose.. but I wonder howz the Taste now. Generally kids like a bit sweeter .

Not too sure about this but I guess the least sweet it is the better? Just not sure how kids will take to the taste.
