Should parents be worried about decay on baby teeth?

Yes, good dental care should start from the moment the first tooth appears. There are many parents who think that since baby teeth are going to drop out eventually, they do not really bother about the care for the baby teeth which is wrong. If a baby tooth get infected, untreated tooth decay can damage the developing underlying permanent tooth.

Yes, of course. Good dental hygiene should be practised by us parents and taught to our children from a young age. Brush your child's teeth twice a day with baby toothpaste and take care not to let them sleep with a bottle. It is also a good habit to start them on taking care of their teeth while they're still young! Let the habit stick with them for the rest of their lives. Prevention is better than cure!

How old is your baby ? If its at a very young age you really need to take precautions.
