Do you give your 6mo to 1yo babies rice porridge and cereal?

Is it safe?

Super Mum

I start giving porridge at 8months, but I slightly purée it. When I feel that she’s better at chewing , I give porridge without purée. You can give a “wetter” porridge and slowly upgrade to those more sticky porridge . At 11mo, I introduce sticky rice. There’s no fixed rule, but I feel it depends on whether ur baby can chew well before u give them more challenging food. And lastly, no teeth also can chew. They use their inside gum (molar area) to chew. My girl is toothless till 1yo.
