I’m 7 weeks pregnant. Is it safe to eat from cafes/restaurants? Read that unpasteurised cheeses might have bacteria. Unsure if grilled cheese is considered “cooked”.
Usually cafes uses cheddar or mozzarella cheese. This cheese is safe to consume. If you are worried you can ask them what cheese are they using in the food and you can also google the list of unpasteurised cheese (these are usually those mould ripened cheese)

I read that it’s generally not recommended to take soft cheese. Hard cheese are okay. So like Priscilla said mozzarella or cheddar should be ok. Sliced cheese should be okay. But not brie sort of cheese for sure.
