Covid Positive

Sadly, I found out my 17-month daughter is tested positive for covid due to irresponsible grandmother. My heart breaks so much cause she keeps coughing and having fever. A few times, she vomited her milk. Called KKH A&E, and was informed that it isnt serious and only to bring her there if she is clearly distressed or becoming breathless. Honestly, do no think it is fair. What if by the time, we arrived or ambulance arrived, itll be too late? Wouldnt want any parent to go through this and pray for everyones safety and health. Stay safe guys and pray for us.

I can understand as a mother. We don’t want to take risks but we have to understand that others may need more help than we do. Keep monitoring your daughter closely, don’t panic and stay calm. Give her plenty of fluids, fruits and vegetables, Vit C to keep her immune system strong while going through this ordeal at such a young age. Im staying with my in-laws now. My SIL is also positive and I’m worried my 16 month old daughter would be positive too as she was playing with her the night before she tested positive. Both my PIL are constantly coughing too. They’re unhygienic AF but I don’t have a choice at the moment cause my own parents tested positive as they just came back from pilgrimage. I’m staying in the room most of the time. Only go out of the room for toilet breaks and meals. I would suggest you to stay calm, don’t blame the system as they are too overwhelmed themselves. We have to stay vigilant and strong for our loved ones. Watch videos on YouTube on how to tend to emergency cases for a toddler at home. Be prepared because the first few mins at home before the ambulance come is also extremely important. Take care Mummy.
