Resourceful mummies, what are some simple crafts we can do at home with a toddler? I'm totally non-creative and not good with such art and craft stuff. Appreciate your advice!

Here's a site that my cousin often refers to for ideas: http://www.education.com/activity/preschool/arts-and-crafts/ She has tried a few and recommended these few to try: http://www.education.com/activity/article/two-ingredient-sensory-dough/ http://www.education.com/activity/article/musicalmotor_preschool/ http://www.education.com/activity/article/fingerpaint_preschool/ The fine motor practice one is great as it is easy to prepare and keeps the children occupied.

You can find lots of ideas from Pinterest! I like artful parent as well - and I have a board on how to teach kids op art, colour theory, 3D drawing - all the stuff that I can't do myself LOL... https://www.pinterest.com/debbiediscovers/teach-it-art-for-kids/ I like this kind of art because it teaches math as well without your child realising it. Same with colour theory - Stanford research show that kids that know the colour wheel perform better in academic tests!

Try making houses (or pretty much anything) from ice cream sticks! I loved this activity when I was a child. All you need are glue, some glitter or paint and of course ice cream sticks (get those colourful ones). It's easy and fun!

With christmas coming up, there are tons of X-mas arts and crafts...I love this blog http://artfulparent.com/ it has some great ideas in there

Finger painting is great! A bit messy, but requires minimal skill and arts and crafts know how haha

You can use different textures for print painting e.g. fruits, vegetables, leaves, stones, boxes, and etc.

Greay ideas! Would love to try them out esp those easy ones!

thanks
