Is it really necessary to take whooping cough vaccine?

My gynae recommended I take it at 35 weeks, only in ur 3rd trimester, as immunity would be passed via placenta onto ur baby upon birth, lasting for 3 months. So I took it at 35 weeks :)

I think the deadline is before 32 weeks. Yes we should take it so that baby is protected from birth, and not only after baby’s own vaccination at 3 months (5-in-1)

I took at week 28..My husband also took it.. it’s $50/person for boostrix.. it still can do as long as in third trimester as my gnae’s saying
