Dog Bite/Wound Treatment

Just recently, my son accidentally got bitten by a dog. We immediately took him in the hospital. Thank God, he's safe! Now, I'm worried if this'll scar. Can this be treated by creams? Or should I look for Pediatric Dermatologist?
