I wanna share my experience as a low supply mum to having enough supply now n more..
During the first 2 weeks, i still can go total bf. After that on 3rd week, suddenly supply drop drastically, from 40ml on each side to 20ml. Den i supplement with fm. I was less stress, i went on liquid parade, find n try all kinds of recommended boosters. I had alot of soups whatever soup u can name it i tried it. Den on tv there's this tcm show where mark Lee hosted? I went to buy their chinese medication.. It started to help abit.. I drink alot of barley water, oats, oats milk, fruit tree carrot juice thru out the day, eat sashimi when i had the chance( sashimi is my booster) garlic, overnight oats with chia seeds. On one date night with hubby for dinner, i think it's the beef or cheese soup, i yield 100ml on one side. Now my average is 60-80 ml on one side n i direct Latch for 2 weeks straight and didn't pump, slowly build supply. I latch one side and pump the other. Now my bb latches and i can still pump to store. Usually i latch thru out the day n will pump in the night to store or day time. Depending. Now i At least pump once a day to store additional abt 160-200ml.
These days my drink thru out the day is either UFC coconut water or barley water. I try everything single thing tat can boost milk even though i hate oats, hate celery.. Alot of things i dun eat before but for the sake of milk supply i eat now. I also eat salmon alternate days.
