Pacifier use during daytime

Do you pull out the pacifier once LO is asleep? If the pacifier drops out of LO's mouth on its own and s/he wakes up, do you put it back in or carry LO? How long would you allow LO to suck on pacifier during sleep?

no won’t pull out. if awake will put back into mouth. suck as long as LO needs.
