Personally I feel there is no need for marriage unless both parties wanted to and are ready...otherwise the boy must at least take on the responsibility of providing for the child, take the mum for her checkups and pay for it and help with any other bills related to pregnancy or birth and raising the child...this should be made clear even if the girl can afford or have family support.
