Me! It started at week 32 for me, and yes, like a previous poster mentioned, I was carrying a boy. It was so itchy it kept me up at night, and clothes touching my skin made me itch too 😱 I used a damp cloth to cool the areas to relieve the itch, and had to work from home a few days as well. I sought wisdom from people of the Internet and bought some Pine Tar soap off Carousell. The rash subsided after about 2 weeks, but I hear it can take delivery to cure others. I hope you’re not suffering from this!!
Hi Mummy, I had pregnancy rash for my first pregnancy. But its not pupp, just mild allergy after i started using Palmer's cocoa butter. I was given calamine lotion by my gynae and it was much better later. Second pregnancy was totally fine, no rash and I was just careful not to use palmer's. Is there any lotion you are currently applying, might want to stop it altogether and monitor first. The itch can be really annoying! Hang in there mummy!
Me! Mine started during my last trimester. It was HORRIBLE. I tried different brands of cream, oil etc. Nothing worked. In the end i tried using aloe vera, ownself plant and cut ones, not those tube or bottle ones. It helped so much. If not, i can’t imagine i’ll scratch myself till what extend 😰
Hi.. yeah I had pupp during my first pregnancy, I had only in the abdomen area and other parts were unaffected. Don't worry it doesn't affect the mother and baby in any way. There are studies that reveal that this condition is more frequent in women carrying boys, is it true in your case?
