It means being an umbrella for my kids. I can shelter them from bad weather, fight off things that try to hurt them. But if they decide to leave me at home some day to face the world without me, I’ll let them gain the experience and independence, and wait for them to come home. (All this while they’re still living with me, of course.. haha)
