My parents don't not exactly have the colgate smile and neither do I, is there anything I can do for my child as a young age to help them achieve a straight clean whiter smile or is it hereditary and can I do nothing to change this?

Instill in your child good dental habits -- regularly brush his teeth, go for stipulated dentist visits and to not overdo it when it comes to junk food like candy and soda cos those are major players in teeth losing pearly whites. When I was younger, I had really white teeth but as I grew older and picked up habits like drinking coffee and cola in copious amounts, that's when I started staining my teeth. I now pay huge amounts to get my teeth whitened because of those habits.
