Pants below tummy

Is it okay to wear pants below tummy rather than above tummy? Not sure if it affects anything if it’s below. Heard from most that above tummy is better?

Not so sure if it affects anything... but i personally find that wearing highwaisted maternity leggings/pants the most comfortable.
