Sa mga wala pong ref, pano po kayo nag store ng breastmilk niyo?

Ok po kaya yung sa styro na cooler then lalagyan na lang ng yelo? FTM po ako. Nasa province po kasi kami ng partner ko, sa family niya. Wala lang po silang ref. Feb-March po EDD ko and plan na po namin dito manganak. Mga April-May pa po siguro kami babalik sa 'min, dun po may magagamit na kaming ref. Gusto ko po sana mag pump at mag store ng breastmilk para sure na dadami yung gatas ko. Thank you po! #firsttimemom #breastfeeding

Hi! It’s great that you’re thinking ahead about storing breast milk. If you don’t have access to a fridge, using a styrofoam cooler with ice packs can work as a temporary solution. Just make sure the ice packs are kept cold and that you’re storing the milk in clean containers. It’s also important to check the temperature regularly to make sure the milk stays at the right level for safe storage. You can definitely start pumping and storing milk — as long as it stays cool, your milk will be fine. Once you get back home and have access to a fridge, you can store it there for longer periods!
